Photos from Craftsy!

I just got back from filming my new class at Craftsy!

The topic of the class is still a secret, but if you’re following me on Instagram, you were able to see some behind-the-scenes photos!

In case you missed them, here are some highlights!

Every morning, I got my hair and makeup done all pretty…

I felt so fancy! I considered kidnapping the makeup artist to bring her home with me… but that just didn’t seem like the nice thing to do!

And here’s a little shot of us setting up some props for photos that will go into the introduction of the class:

One evening, I got the chance to visit Fancy Tiger Crafts, which is a fabulous yarn & craft store in Denver!

Fancy Tiger Craftsy

Isn’t it a lovely shop?

And I ate some yummy food… I’m a sucker for pate!

If you haven’t already taken my existing Craftsy classes, I highly recommend them! Click these links for 50% off the normal price: Amigurumi: Woodland Animals and Amigurumi: Design Your Own Monster.

I can’t wait to show you this newest class! It’ll be released sometime in late summer, so stay tuned!

Hi Stacey, there doesn’t seem to be any link to the 50% off your Craftsy class. I’ve actually enrolled for your Design your own monster class as I have some basic knowledge of Amigurumi. Can I know how the Woodlands animal class would benefit someone like me? I mean someone who have basic Amigurumi n already taking the Design Your ….. Class. Thanks. Leanne

Hey Leanne! I’m so sorry the link was broken… I just fixed it, so it should work now :)
If you have basic knowledge of amigurumi, it sounds like you could be ready to take the design class! Basically, if you have made a couple of animals and feel pretty confident about it, then the design class is right for you :)

Hi Stacey, thanks for fixing the link. I am already taking your Design Your Own Monster class, n just wondering if I would benefit from taking your Woodlands class. What’s your advice for me ? I do have basic in amigurumi but I am enjoying your class so much that’s why I am thinking about taking the Woodlands class. And I just can’t wait for your new Craftsy class. I hope you will continue offering new classes at Craftsy.

Hey Leanne! That’s a great question! The Woodlands class is more of a beginner class, but many folks have told me that even though it featured simple patterns, they still picked up some tips and tricks that were useful. So, it’s up to you!

I’ve seen you in person and you’re already adorable, Stacey, but in this photo YOU ARE GORGEOUS! I can’t wait to sign up for your newest Craftsy class.

Thank you so much! Danica (the hair and makeup girl) is PHENOMENAL! It’s really amazing the sort of transformation she can do… I felt like a movie star! I’ve been thinking about doing a coffee with Stacey on that topic, because it’s actually reassuring to know that almost anyone (even me!) can look like a celebrity with the right makeup… and that we shouldn’t be so jealous of how the superstars look. It’s mostly makeup and such :)

I can’t wait to see what it is. If it wasn’t for your woodland animals class I would never have figured out amigurumi!

    • Stacey

I am! It’s only been a month or so (I had to wait to get a new phone that could handle the app), but I’m so excited! I think I’m getting it :)

  • Cheryl

Wow, Stacey, you look amazing. Then again, you always look good. Excited to see what your new class will be. Love, love , love my book Crocheted Softies and absolutely love your Design Monster class. It’s gotten me to be obsessed with crocheting again after 30 years. Thanks for all you do. You are one heck of a talented lady.

Thank you so much, Cheryl! You’re so sweet. I usually look good mostly because I only post the good photos ;) I often look like a disaster, too! :)

You are sooooooooooooo cute so why would you
have that eyeliner out of place under your eyes??
    Ugmo. :(

    • Stacey

Hahaha! That’s not eyeliner… it’s the shadow from the crease under my eyes!
      The makeup artist is a professional… I suppose my photography isn’t :)
Thanks for writing in to share your opinion!
